• Algo reset takes place at 00.00. From there there's a predetermined high and low for the next day

• Difference between the sweep of stops versus purge. With a sweep price can still come back to go lower/higher. With a purge liquidity is taken to expand into the opposite direction. So with a classic buy/sell day for example you have a purge of liquidity. The highs at the top (0.80 level) is not a purge of liquidity because the daily candle is expected bullish. Its a sweeo of liquidity. They create equal highs because they want to come up there once again. Retail sees that as a double top (resistance).

• The interbank dealing range low and high set the stage for the NY session. In the OTE pattern recognition series ICT explains that is the range you’re working in for the OTE entry.

• TIME: At 8 o’clock all the calibrations start for that 8.30 news embargo. When that lifts, all the news starts flooding the marketplace. The algo’s start firing. We have our dealing range low and high and we start receding into that range. The confluences for the long trade are: OTE inside breaker block inside dealing range and we have relative equal highs above.

• Institutional levels: .80, .50, .20 and 00. You will see key turning points here or daily highs and lows. So you can use them as targets. It’s NOT EXACTLY 50, 80 etc. but they are general rules of thumb. These highs are just a little bit above 1.188009

  

• Execution: experience is required for you to know how to execute within this. I look for 3-5 specific signatures in the algorithmic price delivery and if these aren’t there, I don’t trade.
